As part of the Indonesia International Seafood and Meat (IISM) Expo 2025, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) hosted a Business Forum and Matching Session on 7 May 2025 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. Through the KKP Pavilion, this initiative aimed to build strategic partnerships and strengthen domestic fisheries enterprises.
The programme brought together fisheries producers, processors, and marketers with key players from the retail, distribution, and food industries. The forum included insightful panel discussions focused on product innovation, market accessibility, and strategies to strengthen the domestic fisheries market. These sessions provided valuable knowledge and perspectives to support the growth and competitiveness of Indonesia’s fishery products in the local market.
Several key industry associations supported the event, including Shrimp Club Indonesia, the Indonesian Catfish Entrepreneurs Association (APCI), and the Indonesian Fishery Product Processing and Marketing Association (AP5I). Their involvement provided valuable expertise and insights into product innovation, market development, and strategies to strengthen Indonesia’s domestic fisheries sector.
In addition to the panel discussions, one-on-one meetings were held to foster business collaboration, expand market access, and boost investment in Indonesia’s fishery sector.
Held on 7 May 2025, this impactful forum and matchmaking session marked an important milestone in strengthening Indonesia’s domestic fisheries industry.
